TESDA Courses for OFWs — NC II Certifications & Skills Training 2026

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) provides nationally recognised certifications that are essential for many OFW job categories. NC II (National Certificate II) certifications demonstrate your competency to foreign employers and are required by DMW for certain deployment categories.

How to Get TESDA Certification

  1. Choose your course: Based on your target job abroad
  2. Find a training centre: Search at tesda.gov.ph for accredited centres near you
  3. Complete training: Attend all required hours
  4. Apply for assessment: Register at a TESDA assessment centre
  5. Take the assessment: Practical and written exam
  6. Receive NC II: If you pass, NC II certificate is issued (valid 5 years)

TESDA Online Program (TOP)

TESDA also offers free online courses through the TESDA Online Program. While online courses alone do not grant NC II certification (you still need in-person assessment), they provide excellent preparation and supplement training.
